About this tool
Paste the original and modified text to compare which lines occur in each block. The output prefixes missing original lines with a minus and new lines with a plus, and reports counts and a simple similarity estimate.
This implementation uses line membership checks, not a longest-common-subsequence or Git-style diff. It can miss reordered lines and changes in duplicate counts. Output is plain text rather than colored inline change highlighting.
